Aarhus Airport is the fourth busiest airport in Denmark, mainly used by Scandinavian Airlines and Ryanair. Aarhus is the largest city in Denmark after Copenhagen. Unfortunately, the airport is quite far from the city centre of Aarhus.
Where is Aarhus Airport situated?
The airport is located northeast of Aarhus in the vicinity of National Park Mols Bjerge. From the city, you can get to the airport via motorway ‘Djurslandmotorvejen’ (Primærrute 15).
How many terminals does Aarhus Airport have?
Aarhus Airport has a modern terminal consisting of two floors. Inside the terminal you can find the Departures hall on the right and the Arrivals hall on the left. A hotel is situated in the middle of the terminal. The renovated terminal of Aarhus Airport, inaugurated in 2022, now has double the capacity of the old terminal.
