Aeroflot is the flag carrier and largest airline of Russia. The airline is headquartered in Moscow and is part of SkyTeam alliance.

The predecessor of Aeroflot, Dobrolet, was founded on 17 March 1923. In 1932, the name changed to Aeroflot.
