Air Canada is the national airline of Canada. The airline offers many scheduled flights to connect many cities in the country together. Air Canada also offers flights to some destinations in the Carribean and to Europe.


Air Canda is headquartered in Montreal, Quebec. The airline has multiple subsidiaries among which Air Canada’s regional and leisure operators Air Canada Express and Air Canada Rouge. In 2019, Air Canada bought the Canadese low-cost airline Air Transat.

Air Canada was founded in 1937 as Trans-Canada Air Lines. In 1965, the airline changed its name to Air Canada.
