Air Italy is the second-largest airline in Italy and is headquartered in Olbia. The airline flies to destinations in Europe, Africa, Asia and North America. The airline wants to bring, with a combination of style, dynamics and attention to detail, the soul of Italy to the rest of the world.
Air Italy is owned by AQA Holding. The holding is owned by two companies: Alisarda and Qatar Airways. The holding is based in Olbia, but the airlines’ main operating base is located at Milan Malpensa Airport.

The rebranded Air Italy was founded in 2018. It was established by a merger of the parent company Meridiana and its subsidiary Air Italy.

Air Italy has three fare types that all have different baggage allowances. Each passenger can bring one piece of cabin luggage with a maximum of 8 kg. With the Economy Light fare, passengers need to pay an additional fee to bring a checked bag. Economy Classic passengers are allowed to bring one checked bag with a maximum weight of 23 kg.
