History

Air Zimbabwe was founded in 1967 as Air Rhodesia by the Government of Rhodesia. In 1978, the airline changed its name to Air Zimbabwe Rhodesia. Two years later, in 1980, the airline changed its name to its current name, Air Zimbabwe.
