History
Albawings was founded in February 2015 by two experienced entrepreneurs from the travel industry, Gentjan Kole and Dhimiter Tola. The airline started its operation in August 2016 with a flight from Tirana to Genua.

- One of Albawings’ aircraft is named after the actor Sir Norman Wisdom. He was a really popular actor during the communist regime of Enver Hoxha.
