History
In 1990 SATA decided to start an airline which would fly to and from the Azores. In 1994, the airline Oceanair started operating these flights for SATA. In 1998 the name of Oceanair was changed to SATA Internacional. In October 2015, SATA decided to renew their airline and changed its name to Azores Airlines.
