History
Bamboo Airways was founded in 2017 by FLC Group after the approval of the Vietnamese government. The airline started its operation in January of 2019.
Baggage
Bamboo Airways permits Economy Class passengers to bring 1 piece of cabin luggage with the maximum dimensions of 56x36x23 cm and a maximum weight of 7 kg. In addition, travellers can bring 1 small personal item with them on board. Business Class passengers are allowed to bring 2 pieces of cabin luggage with each a maximum weight of 7 kg and an additional personal item with them. Checked luggage is not included in the cheapest fare class (Bamboo Eco) while passengers travelling in Bamboo Plus and Bamboo Business are permitted to bring 1 piece of checked luggage free of charge.
