Bangkok Airways was founded in 1968 as Sahakol Air. In 1989, the airline was rebranded to Bangkok Airways.
Passengers travelling with Bangkok Airways can bring 1 piece of cabin luggage with a maximum weight of 5 kg. The amount of free checked baggage allowance depends on the travel class.
