Bhutan Airlines was founded in 2011 as Tashi Air. In 2013, the airline changed its name to Bhutan Airlines.
Bhutan Airlines offers passengers the possibility to bring 1 piece of cabin luggage with a maximum weight of 7 kg and maximum dimensions of 55x40x20 cm. On most routes, passengers can bring 1 piece of checked luggage with a maximum weight of 30 kg for Economy Class passengers and a maximum weight of 40 kg for Business Class passengers.
