Binter Canarias is a regional airline flying within the Canary Islands. The airline wants to offer passengers the best service while using less-polluting technology.
Binter Canarias was founded in 1988 as a subsidiary of Iberia and started its operation in 1989. The airline was privatised in 1999, at the same moment as Iberia got privatised. In 2002, Iberia sold the airline to the company Hesperia Inversiones Aéreas.

Passengers traveling with Binter Canarias are allowed to bring one piece of hand luggage with a maximum weight of 6 kg plus one personal item on board. The amount of checked luggage that passengers are allowed to bring depends on the route, in the most cases passengers are allowed to bring one checked bag with a maximum weight of 20 kg to 23 kg.
