Corsair is a French leisure airline that operates primarily long haul flights to destinations in Africa and the Americas. The airline wants to be the doorstep for passengers to discover ‘new horizons’.
Organization
Corsair International is for more than 50 percent part of the German aviation investor Intro Aviation. TUI Group, which was the previous owner of the airline has still a minority stake in the airline.

History
Corsair International was founded in 1981 as Corse Air International. In 1990 the name was changed to Corsair International. In 2000, TUI took over Nouvelles Frontières, which was since 1990 the owner of Corsair. In March 2019, more than half of the shares were sold to Intro Aviation.
