Cyprus Airways flights are executed by Charlie Airlines which is for 40% owned by the Russian airline, S7 Airlines. The airline has about 300 employees.

After the bankruptcy of Cyprus Airways in 2015, the Cypriot government gave Charlie Airlines the right to use the brand name. In 2017, Charlie Airlines started operating as Cyprus Airways.
