Czech Airlines is the flag carrier of the Czech Republic. The airline operates regular passenger air traffic flights to several destinations across Europe. The airline also executes special charter flights, transports mail and shipments and leases airplanes to other airlines.

History
Czech Airlines was founded in 1923 by the government of the former state Czechoslovakia as Czechoslovak State Airlines. After the breakup of Czechoslovakia, the airline changed its name to Czech Airlines in 1995. In 2017, Smartwings (formerly known as Travel Service) became the majority shareholder of Czech Airlines.

Lounges
Czech Airlines has in cooperation with Menzies two lounges at Prague Airport. The Menzies Aviation Lounge in Terminal 1 and the Menzies Aviation Lounge in Terminal 2.
Baggage
Economy Class passengers are eligible to bring one cabin bag with a maximum weight of 8 kg. In addition, Economy Plus and Economy Flex passengers are allowed to bring one personal item with a maximum weight of 3 kg. Business Class passengers are allowed to bring two bags with each a maximum weight of 8 kg and a personal item with a maximum weight of 3 kg. Economy Plus and Economy Flex passengers are allowed to check-in one bag with a maximum weight of 23 kg while all Business Class passengers are allowed to bring two checked bags with each a maximum weight of 32 kg.
