Flybe is a British regional airline that flies between many British cities, Ireland and Continental Europe.
Connect Airways, which was founded by Virgin Atlantic, Stobart Aviation and the investment company Cyrus Capital Partners, is the owner of Flybe. The British regional carrier has approximately 2,500 employees.

Flybe was founded in 1979 as Jersey European Airways. The name changed several times during the years. In 1985 the name was changed to Jersey European and in 2000 to British European. Eventually, in 2002, the name got changed to Flybe. Until the acquisition of Flybe by Connect Airways in February 2019, the airline was a fully independent organisation.
- It is expected that Flybe will execute flights under the name of Virgin Atlantic in the near future, because of the acquisition by Connect Airways.
Flybe passengers are allowed to bring one cabin bag and one personal item on board. The total maximum weight of these two items may be 10 kg. The amount of check-in luggage passengers are allowed to bring depends on their travel class. Please consult website Flybe for more information.
