History

HOP! was founded at the end of 2012 to execute regional flights for Air France. At the beginning of 2019, Air France decided to start rebranding HOP! to Air France HOP.

Baggage

HOP! allows passengers to bring one piece of cabin luggage and one personal item with a total maximum weight of 12 kg. The amount of checked baggage that passengers are permitted to bring depends on the fare class. At all times, suitcases are not allowed to weight more than 23 kg. In-flight Wi-Fi

From 2019, HOP! will gradually install in-flight Wi-Fi on their Airbus aircraft. Passengers can enjoy free Wi-Fi at a low-speed level which can be used for messaging (i.e. WhatsApp, iMessage, WeChat).  From €3 per hour, passengers can surf the web and check e-mails.
