History
Jetstar was founded as a low-cost subsidiary by the Australian airline Qantas in 2003.
Baggage
Every passenger can bring 2 pieces of cabin luggage, a large piece of cabin luggage and a small item, with a total maximum weight of 7 kg. Passengers that have a Flex Bundle can bring 3 kg of additional weight while Business Class passengers are permitted to bring 14 kg of carry-on luggage. Checked baggage is not included in the Starter or Flex Bundle while Starter Plus passengers can bring 20 kg of checked baggage.
