History
Kuwait Airways was founded in 1954 as Kuwait National Airways. The airline started its operation in 1954. One year later, in 1955, the airline changed its name to its current name Kuwait Airways.
Baggage
Every Economy Class passenger can bring 1 piece of cabin luggage with a maximum weight of 7 kg and one personal item. Business Class passengers can bring 1 piece of carry-on luggage with a maximum weight of 11 kg and may also bring 1 personal item with them. For checked luggage, Economy Class passengers are permitted to check-in 2 pieces of 23 kg while Business Class, First Class and Royal Class passengers are permitted to bring 2 pieces of 32 kg.
