Myanmar National Airlines was founded in 1948 as Union of Burma Airways. Since then, the airline changed its name several times. In 1972, the airline changed its name to Burma Airways while in 1989 the name was changed to Myanma Airways. In the end of 2014, the airline changed its name to its current name: Myanmar National Airlines.
Passengers that fly with Myanmar National Airlines can bring 1 piece of cabin luggage with a maximum weight of 7 kg. On international flights, passengers are allowed to bring free checked baggage. In Economy Class, passengers can bring 20 kg of checked luggage, while in Economy Premium the maximum allowance is 25 kg. Business Class passengers are allowed to bring 30 kg of checked baggage.
