History
The airline was founded in 1946 as Orient Airways. In 1955, the airline changed its name to Pakistan International Airlines.
Baggage
Every passenger that travels with Pakistan International Airlines is permitted to bring 1 piece of cabin luggage with a maximum weight of 7 kg with them. Business Class passengers are allowed to bring a small additional piece of luggage with a maximum weight of 5 kg with them on board.
