History
Paranair was founded in 2015 as Amaszonas Paraguay by the Spanish airline Air Nostrum and the Bolivian airline Amaszonas. The airline operated its first flight under that name in September that year. Later, in 2018, the airline decided to separate from the Amaszonas Group and changed its name to Paranair.
