Red Wings Airlines is a Russian regional and charter airline. The airline operates flights within Russia and to destinations in Europe.


The airline is owned by the Russian businessmen Alexander Lebedev. Red Wings Airlines has a codeshare agreement with Smartwings.


Red Wings Airlines was founded in 1999 as VARZ-400. In 2001, the airline changed its name to Airlines 400. Later, in 2007, the company changed ownership and adopted its current name, Red Wings Airlines.

Every passenger can bring 1 piece of cabin luggage with a maximum weight of 10 kg and the maximum dimensions of 55х40х20 cm. The permitted amount of free checked luggage depends on the fare class. In some fare classes, passengers need to pay an additional charge to bring checked luggage while in others a piece of checked baggage with a maximum weight of 20 kg is included in Economy Class.
