Rossiya Airlines is a Russian airline that flies to destinations in Russia, Europe and Asia. The airline is an important passenger supply carrier for Aeroflot flights.
Organization
Since 2010, Rossiya Airlines is for three-fourths part owned by the Aeroflot Group. At the end of 2015, the airlines Donavia and Orenair were merged into Rossiya Airlines. Nowadays, the airline has more than 7,000 employees.

History
Rossiya Airlines was founded in 1992 as Rossiya by the Russian government. However, the airlines’ history traces back to 1932 when Pulkovo Airlines was founded, which merged into Rossiya in 2006. In 2010, the Russian government decided that the regional state-airlines that were owned by the state company Rostek needed to become a daughter company of the Russian flag carrier Aeroflot. One year later, Rossiya was rebranded as Rossiya Airlines.

Baggage
Passengers that fly Economy Class with Rossiya Airlines are allowed to bring 1 piece of cabin luggage with a maximum weight of 10 kg while Business Class passengers are allowed to bring 1 piece with a maximum weight of 15 kg.
