SCAT Airlines is a Kazakh that operates flights within Kazakhstan and to destinations worldwide. Most out of the country flights shuttle to destinations in Asia and Europe. Nowadays, the airline operates about 80 different routes. SCAT Airlines wants to help Kazakhstan to create a reliable infrastructure by offering its services.
Organization
SCAT Airlines is owned by two (former) pilots, Vladimir Ivanovich Denisov and Vladimir Andreevich Sytnik. The airline has about 1,250 employees. SCAT Airlines has two subsidiary airlines which are Sunday Airlines and Southern Sky.
History
SCAT Airlines was founded in 1997 by a group of 17 like-minded people, among which many pilots. One year after its establishment the airline started its first operation. In 2018, the airline became a member of the International Air Transport Association (IATA).

Baggage
In general, passengers are allowed to bring a cabin bag with a maximum weight of 5 kg and the maximum dimensions of 55x40x20 cm. In addition, every traveller can bring 1 piece of checked luggage with a maximum weight of 20 kg. For every extra kg that is brought, a fee has to be paid.
