History
Thai Airways was founded in 1960 as a joint venture between Scandinavian Airlines (SAS) and Thai Airways Company. The airline started operating international flights from Thailand.
Baggage
Economy Class passengers are permitted to bring 1 piece of cabin luggage on board of Thai Airways flights while Business Class and First Class passengers are allowed to bring 2 pieces of cabin baggage.
