Vueling is a Spanish low-cost airline that flies to destinations within Europe, focussing on Southern Europe. The airline wants to be an efficient and friendly carrier that looks for improvement and keeps its ‘feet on the ground’.
Vueling is one of the low-cost subsidiaries of the Spanish International Airlines Group (IAG). The airline has two frequent flyer programs, its own Vueling Club and the IAG programme Avios.

Vueling was founded in 2004 by the businessmen Lázaro Ros and Carlos Muñoz. In the year 2013, International Airlines Group took full control over Vueling when it became the largest shareholder of the airline.

- The airline has been awarded by Skytrax as the 5th best low-cost carrier in Europe (2019).
Vueling passengers are permitted to bring 1 piece of cabin baggage with a maximum weight of 10 kg and maximum dimensions of 55x40x20 cm on board. In addition, it is allowed to bring 1 smaller personal item with the max dimensions of 35x20x20 cm. The amount of permitted hold luggage depends on the travel class. Vueling is working on high-speed in-flight Wi-Fi on their aircraft. It is not known when this will be launched.
