Widerøe is a Norwegian regional airline that operates flights within Norway and some surrounding countries.
Widerøe was founded in 1934 by Viggo Widerøe. In 1989, the airline bought Norsk Air and in 2010, Widerøe took over some regional SAS operations in the West of Norway.
Widerøe offers each passenger 1 piece of cabin baggage with a maximum weight of 8 kg. The amount of allowed checked luggage depends on the travel class. Economy Light passengers can only bring a piece of checked luggage if they pay an additional fee. Economy passengers can bring 1 piece of hold luggage with a maximum weight of 23 kg while Full Flex passengers can bring 2 pieces of each 23 kg. Please consult website Widerøe for more information.
