Bus to Bergamo
ATB is the public transport company of Bergamo, they have a bus service (Airport Bus line 1) which connects Bergamo Airport with Bergamo’s bus and railway station (Stazione). Airport Bus line 1 departs three times an hour to and from the airport, on Sundays and public holidays twice an hour. Buses from Bergamo Airport leave from bus stop 1 in front of entrance 1 of the Arrivals hall. The journey to the main railway station in Bergamo takes 15 minutes, the final stop in Bergamo Old Town (Città Alta, Upper Town) can be reached in 30 minutes.
Bus tickets
A 3 zone ticket valid for 90 minutes costs € 3.00. If you have more than one piece of hand luggage you need to buy an extra ticket priced at € 3.00. The price of a day ticket is € 8.50 and a ticket for three days costs € 14.50. A ticket for 24 hours or 72 hours is also valid on tram line 1 in Bergamo (TEB), which runs between the main railway station of Bergamo and Albino. Tickets can be bought in the Arrivals hall and outside from the ticket vending machines, children under 1 metre in height can travel free of charge.
Train to Milan and Brescia
At Bergamo railway station a regional train departs to Milano Centrale and Brescia every hour. A ticket from Bergamo to Milan costs € 6.00, travel time by train is 48 minutes. Terravision to Milan – BUY TICKETS
From the Arrivals hall it is just a few steps to the bus stop of Terravision, there’s always a bus to take travellers to Milan. Buses leave from bus stop 2, 3 or 4, the final stop is the main railway station Milano Centrale (Piazza Luigi di Savoia). From the city the first bus leaves as soon as 03:10 hours in the morning. If you take a bus in the direction of Bergamo Airport you should be at the bus stop 15 minutes before departure, travel time is 60 minutes. Tickets can be purchased through the website of Terravision. The bus departs approximately two times per hour in both directions. Children up to 4 years can travel for free.
