Train to Birmingham
Birmingham Airport has its own train station, called Birmingham International. The airport is connected to Birmingham International by the free Air-Rail Link, the monorail (automated people mover) takes travellers in only 2 minutes to and from the terminal. From the airport’s railway station runs at least every 10 minutes a train to the main railway station Birmingham New Street. There are several trains available, the carriers are Virgin Trains, West Midlands Railway / London Northwestern Railway, Cross Country and Transport for Wales.
The price of a ticket for a single journey (Anytime Day Single) is £ 3.90 for adults and £ 1.95 for children from 5 up to 15 years. Coventry, the other major city close to the airport, can also be reached by train.
