The worst airport ever! Unable to process planes on time! Only 2 policeman at arrival passport check. Arrived here from different airport and luggage area was literally stocked up with luggages and noone there so you can just go, grab which ever luggage you want and walk out! Disgusting dirty and smelly bathrooms! Not enough charging points. Everywhere people sitting on the floor. Business lounge for 30 euro offers few sad pastries. No employees to direct you anywhere. Spoke with number of employees (check in desks, gates) and they asked me to write about my experience as it is here like this every day. Disgrace. Avoid if you can!

The airport is clearly not sized for handling the current high number of passengers. Expect long queues (60+ minutes check in, 30-60?minutes security) in the morning and on weekends. Be prepared to await your flight at the gate either standing or sitting on the floor since available seating is not sufficient. Beautiful Bologna and passengers deserves more than this.

When you are flying from Bololgna Airport to go back to UK where you don't need any passenger locator form or test MAKE SURE YOU HAVE ANYWAY A GREEN PASS because at BOLOGNA they will ask you for one to go to your GATE even if the country where you are you flying not required none..
It is not the airline that will ask you to show them a green pass but the stuff on the second floor at the departure entrance..
You are sitting at the airport and all you can hear it is mask are mandatory and social distance is required in the airport but they forgot to say out loud with the speaker also a GREEN PASS is needed to reach the gate.!!!!!!!!
I would understood if you are flying between Italian regions which is mandatory under the Italians Covid rules but to fly to a country where it is not needed does it make much sense????
ITALY money making Covid test again ...could it be ?????? ..where to breath air you need a GREEN PASS.......
