Brussels Airport
General information
Brussels Airport is the largest airport in Belgium and one of the top 25 busiest airports in Europe. It serves as the home base for Brussels Airlines and TUI fly Belgium. The airport is known as Zaventem Airport among Belgians. The airport has one terminal and three runways. The location of Brussels Airport is excellent in the middle of the country, in addition to Brussels, cities such as Antwerp, Ghent, Charleroi and Liège can also be reached quickly.

Where is Brussels Airport situated?
The airport is located north-east of Brussels, near Zaventem (35,000 inhabitants). To reach the airport follow the Brussels Airport signage on the Brussels ring road (R0). After the right exit, continue straight ahead to the airport.
How many terminals does Brussels Airport have?
There is one terminal building consisting of four floors and two piers/concourses. The Departures hall is located at level 3, the Arrivals hall and taxis at level 2, the bus station at level 0 and the train station at level -1. Pier B is used for flights to non-Schengen countries, Pier A for flights to Schengen countries (A gates) and Africa (T gates). The check-in desks, rows 1 to 14, are located in the Departures hall. There is a self-service baggage drop-off near check-in row 4, available for passengers flying Brussels Airlines, Lufthansa, Austrian Airlines and Swiss. On arrival, turn left for taxis and right for car rental, buses and trains. A Delhaize supermarket is located in the public part of the Arrivals hall.
