I had bad experience at calgary Airport although I have been travelling every year from Montreal and Calgary to Tampa Fl for winter get away .I took flight in Nov.2022 from Calgary to Tampa Fl. Was not that bad .I took flight on Nov.12, 2023 from Calgary to Tampa Fl. I was searched took all my perfumes below 2 Once’s
And drey hair colour powder below 1 once’s I was told I am allowed only one bag 6x4 inch to fit whatever below 4 once’s ,it never happened before although I have been travelling since 2001 never had such bad experience at Calgary Airpprt ,it used to be very friendly and welcoming Airport .I argued and asked when this law was changed since I travel very frequently never had this kind of harassment at Calgary Airport unbelievable .I told them that I am senior citizen going for winter to Florida have been travelling every years they ignored my requested confiscated all my stuff below 2 once’s worth one hundred dollars .

Worst experience in my life.land at terminal A concourse 50 min
Connection flight departing from terminal E. After leaving secured area( by design) and redirected to the E concourse requiring TSA inspection again. Then stopped before entering concourse because my luggage had not past inspection. We walked over 9000 steps at airport.

My mother was flying to Frankfurt today with Aero Wing and the staff at the airport was incredibly slow. They just take their time, chit chat and laugh with each other and just stroll slowly. It was so frustrating. Calgary Airport is the worst functioning Airport I've ever been in.

Security is brutal slow, train people when it's super busy, ground crews super unorganized! Used to be good, at one time, gone down hill bad! For an airport of this size, terribly run!!

Worst airport I’ve ever gone through and I travel all the time - international and domestic. Avoid at all cost if possible - worst than 3 rd world country airports! Would give it 0 starts if possible. Rude workers, inefficient layout, no signage for international flights - I could go on and on. Don’t go through this airport!

Flying from Houston to Edmonton, lay over in Calgary. Our plane was late due to a mechanical issue. I had a global entry and I thought I could use it. only Nexus would have helped us. In customs we left the terminal and had to re- check in /back in through security, could not go through the connections line? Where in the new security line we could use the global entry for travelers program???Does this make sense to anyone. Did not make the connection.

Worst airport I’ve ever gone thru....no wheelchairs....have to walk miles....only to find last minute gate changes and you have to walk another 2-3 miles to your next gate...only to be told your too late to board a plane....would be nice if management at the airport could get their acts together.....reallly bad and sad that people are treated this way! Would give it zero stars if I could.

Worst airport I’ve ever been in. I travel a lot. Stupid transportation between gates which are ridiculously far apart. Poorly laid out. Looks like it was designed by a kindergarten class

I’d give it zero if i could. Horrible place, staff are rude and raise their voices at guest. Everything is a long distance away and if you struggle with mobility for any reason you are out of luck. You will struggle. Staff don’t know what they are talking about and will send you all over just to turned away when you get to said destination. I was not allowed on a flight after gate was changed and No announcement made, plane was still there but door closed. staff member here was raising voice and getting mad when we the guests were the one struggling now, no help given. Made to exit secure area, (was in the D wing) had to walk to opposite end of airport 15-20 min walk and then wait in line for 1.5h to have flight rebooked the next morning. Told to go back through security so more walking. I get to security and they scan my boarding pass, have my stuff in the bins and some lady comes and then scolds me that I can’t pas through. So rude, no listening or finding out what is going on. I was told i could go through just to be scolded by someone after which left me in tear as I was in so much pain at this point due to autoimmune disease that effects my joints which were in pain from all the walking. Also hungry at this point as I have celiac disease that requires a strict gluten free diet which is almost impossible to accommodate at the airport restaurants so was living off snacks i made sure to bring that were safe. When I later went to pass security when they said i was allowed i was questioned due to my boarding pass having been scanned. One staff at the security at 4:30 in the morning was particularly rude and yelling at everyone that they need to stack the bins at the end of the line. It was threatening, rude and so unnecessary at 4:30 in the morning when passengers are doing their best. Many of which were there due to mess ups due to the airport and flight companies from the night before. Avoid layovers here at all costs. Sorry if you live in Calgary and have to use this horrible airport as your main one.

We arrived at the airport from Mexico on April 11th in the evening. I spent almost 2.5 hours running the airport with my dog, my backpack, and two almost 50lbs bags. I had to catch a connecting flight to Victoria at 11:30 and the my flight from Mexico arrived about half an hour early, thank god for that. Every aspect of the airport was a nightmare with people giving directions for no assistance. No trams, no wheelchairs and security closures created major challenges. I was also selected for random rapid test that sent me on another journey. I feel like I ran a 10km race and I"m 68. One departure area was completely deserted with no instructions on how to get to our checkin after customs. Gates were changed three times but there was no notice of the changes. People were so angry and tired and assistance was nowhere in sight. Security gates were closed and we were redirected from D to C by a red felt pen and a sign so small you could hardly see it. Don't even get me going on the long hall ways. Finally found security and it was jam pack packed with people so imagine my shock. THey put me in a separate line because I had a dog otherwise I would have never made my flight at 11:30 and no one cared. THis is just part of my experience with this airport and its lack of service. I don't even remember going thru customs and had collected so much paperwork that I didn't know which end was up. I give this airport a rating of 1 and only because I think I'm being kind. It seems nothing has changed since the last time I was there 2 years ago.

Una stellina è troppo, ci vorrebbe zero per una recensione seria dell'aeroporto MARCO PIRLA che al rientro alle ore 14,30 p.m. del pomeriggio 4.02.2024 con ufficio cambio aperto rifiuta di cambiare il corrispondente di 21 euro in lire turche perchè sono troppo poche.
Chissà chi si credono di essere per snobbare 21 euro, che il karma faccia il suo corso.
P.s. all'andata panini di prosciutto crudo al bar prima dell'imbarco ore 11,40 a.m. da rimettere sul posto. 7,5 euro di panino da buttare perchè vecchio il pane riscaldato e acido il prosciutto, da evitare come un contagio.
Del resto se 21 euro sono poche per il cambio, 7,5 euro per un panino deve considerarsi regalato per quelli dell'airport Marco Pirla.

il servizio piu' schifoso che abbia mai visto in vita mia , lost and found e aviation service fanno proprio cagare , gli agenti talmente maleducati e non aiutano per niente a instradare i passeggeri . ho parlato con 2 diverse persone che sembravano albanesi , totalmente maleducati .

This is the second time that I’m using the airport. Both times they opened my staff without any concern or asking me to do it instead of them and pretending to check the liquids, they decided to take one without informing me why I’m not allowed to take it with me. Their response I don’t understand English! Which they perfectly did.. especially when you seem to be in hurry or a vulnerable weak person that won’t cause anything to them, purposely they are delaying you and taking whatever they can.. this time a “lovely” person with glasses and white medium length hair did this and on purpose was delaying me after informing her that my flight leaves in 10 min… she didn’t care at all! After mentioning that she was going slower than ever as nothing is happening! I’ve never seen such unacceptable experience in my life… hope I’ll never have to visit their airport again .. after all I may have some goodies that will be valuable to them but I won’t have the right to take them with me although legally is okay..

Di solito volo a Sofia da Bari ma ieri sono dovuto partire da Bergamo,non ho parole,uno schifo assurdo, pieno di barboni che occupano sedili di che paga i biglietti di aerei,una puzza incredibile,per quanto riguarda i prezzi al bar sono cari ma come in tutti gli aeroporti del mondo ( forse a Sofia anche di più) mi dispiace lasciare questa recensione negativa ma vedo che la mia amata Italia sta sprofondato sempre di più!Per me valutazione -1

Never change your flight here because there will be a lot of stupid and unuseful controls.
I was with my partner and while getting out of the plane, I went in front and took a wrong exit. I could not return. They saw me on the cameras and came to me asking me to exit and repeat the security controls. Even if they have seen that I had just took the wrong stairs for about 30 sec and couldn’t do anything illegal. I was separated from my partner, and had to walk hundred of meters , queue and repeate the security checks before I could reach my connect flight. What a waste of time, what a useless usage of security ressources on your airport!!! And all this because the connection flights direction are not visible on the screens and the walls … you should be really ashame!!! Nobody will take connection flights here anymore unless you improve your airport and make decent security controls !!!

Atención, los taxistas aunque sean oficiales te cobrarán x5 el precio real. El taxametro marca mal y según el chico siendo tarifa nocturna es el precio estándar.

Pagué 60 euros y debería haber pagado 10 euros. Recomiendo preguntarle directamente antes de entrar el costo.

Very rude treatment of customers during luggage inspection. The staff considers themselves entitled to turn all luggage inside out, dump it out of bags without any reason, without asking permission from the owners. To the question 'what are you doing with my luggage?' The inspector gave an incredibly rude answer: 'It's my job, I do what I need to do!', after which he continued to treat my luggage like some kind of garbage. After the inspection, he didn’t even bother to apologize for the fact that all my luggage was outside the bag, scattered on a tray, he pushed this tray back to me and started working on another client. It unbelievable!!!

The airport in Hurghada is an absolute disgrace. The airport is clean in the public areas however the toilets lack of toilet paper and are not particularly clean. The internet is free for 15 minutes, if you manage to connect which I could not, it did not work for me. The worst of all are the security checks and very unpleasant and rude airport staff. I had to go through nine security checks including two x-ray and one bag search. It was a nightmare. The staff is not helpful as they are very unfriendly.

After years of avoiding travelling through this airport, I was unlucky again today and had a 2.5 hours transit through CDG airport today. All reviews are on the spot, staff are rude, airport badly run and not organized… and they have the audacity to categorize it 4 stars airport… for what exactly? More than 30 minutes in a bus with no indication if we are heading in the right direction towards the right terminal and on the way we saw detention buildings with barbed wires…any idea what is going on there or media is allowed to report on human rights violations in “first world countries”

Airport ok. More security points than other places I have travelled from.
No internet available unless you spent time installing local SIM cards etc. so couldn't book taxi/transport as such.
Taxi drivers rip off wanted 1000EGP(£25) for 5 min drive to hotel... settled on 600EGP which we found out was 3x the price. Not nice start of the holiday when you are taken advantage off like that. They think we all rich and doing nothing for hard earned money back home I guess.

Era da 1 anno e mezzo che non partivo più da Treviso ma da ora in poi lo eviterò come la peste. Una vergogna!
Tralasciando l'attsa infinita per fare i controlli di sicurezza che può capitare, alle partenze è rimasto solo un bar aperto, ore 12.00 aeroporto pieno di gente, una fila interminabile x riuscire a prendere qualcosa da mangiare o da bere, una sola cassa aperta, distributori di bevande/cibo inesistenti, un disservizio totale...Solamente un bagno segnalato, quindi anche lì aspettare perchè la signora delle pulizie bloccava l'accesso x pulire..Al momento dell'imbarco si presenta solamente una hostess, ritardo infinito anche lì

Pessimo servizio post & found a ve airport, non credete a quello che dicono gli operatori, esperienza personale con un bagaglio, impossibile contattare via telefono il servizio, se per pura fortuna rispondono dall’estero e se non sanno come giustificare , attaccano il telefono . Il servizio reclamo alla mail ha risposto una volta, alle successive mail non ha più risposto. Pessimo servizio se così possiamo chiamarlo.
