Train to Barry, Cardiff, Bridgend, Port Talbot, Neath and Swansea

Close to the airport is Rhoose railway station, where you can catch a train to various places in Wales. Bus service 905 runs between the airport and the train station, once an hour in both directions. Travel time is 10 minutes and tickets cost £ 1.00 per person. Trains run every hour from Rhoose Station. From Rhoose Cardiff International Airport railway station you can reach Barry (6 minutes), Cardiff (33 minutes) and Bridgend (28 minutes) quickly.

From Bridgend railway station you can take the train to Swansea, on its way it makes a stop at Port Talbot Parkway and Neath. The journey time from Rhoose to Swansea, the second largest city in Wales, is 1 hour and 30 minutes including one change. The price of a train ticket to Swansea is £ 8.60 for adults and £ 4.30 for children from 5 up to 15 years (Anytime Day Single). T9 Cardiff Airport Express to Cardiff

You can also take bus T9 Cardiff Airport Express and travel directly to the city of Cardiff. The bus service of New Adventure Travel runs seven days a week from the early morning until late in the evening between the airport and the city centre. The routes to and from the city are slightly different, on average it takes 35 minutes to the bus stops near the city centre and the main railway station Cardiff Central.

The first bus from the city leaves early in the morning, in time for the first flights departing from the airport, the last bus from Cardiff Airport leaves around midnight. All journeys are operated by low floor buses with enough space for your luggage. Bus T9 leaves every 20 minutes from April to October and every 30 minutes from November to March.
