Along the main road Julius K. Nyerere you will find the airport bus stop, it is a 7-minute walk from Terminal 2 / Domestic Terminal and a 9-minute walk from Terminal 3 / International Terminal. If you want to travel to the centre of the city you have to cross the street, because in Tanzania people drive on the left side of the road. The bus stop is close to the Airport Mosque. From there, you can travel by minibus (“dala dala”) to the centre of Dar es Salaam. Buses heading to Mnazi Mmoja will take you to the city centre. Be aware it can get crowded on board and therefore there is little space for your luggage on the bus. Travel time to Mnazi Mmoja Bus Stand in Kariakoo is approximately 60 minutes.
