The metro station is situated underneath Terminal C. Every 20 minutes S-Bahn S11 (Düsseldorf Flughafen – Bergisch-Gladbach) departs from the airport towards Düsseldorf, the fifth station is Düsseldorf Hauptbahnhof. In the evening, on Saturdays, Sundays and public holidays S-Bahn S11 runs every 30 minutes. Travel time to the main railway station in Düsseldorf is only 12 minutes.
The price of a ticket is € 2.90 for adults and € 1.70 for children from 6 up to 14 years of age (Preisstufe A3). These tickets are valid for 90 minutes.
