Bus to Fez and Meknes

Bus line 16 runs every hour from the airport to the city from early in the morning until 19:00 hours in the evening. After leaving the terminal, you will find the bus stop on your right-hand side. The final destination is Fez railway station (Gare de Fès) in the modern part of the city. The price of a bus ticket is only 4.00 MAD per person per ride, travel time is about 40 minutes. Once arrived at the train station it is still 3.5 kilometres to the Medina of Fez (Fez el-Bali). From the airport, you can also use a “petit taxi” to get to the old town of Fez, the price is approximately 15.00 MAD.

From the railway station in Fez, you can take the train to Meknes. The train ride from the station to Meknes is about 30 minutes. A train ticket costs 22.00 MAD in the 2nd class and 32.00 MAD in the 1st class. The train departs once every hour from and to Meknes. Please consult website ONCF for more information.
