Buses of Sagalés run from Girona Airport to Barcelona North Bus Station (Estació del Nord, platforms 28 and 29), near metro station Arc de Triomf (L1 red line). The timetable of bus line 602 (sometimes bus line 604) is scheduled to coincide with arrivals and departures of Ryanair flights. About 25 minutes after a flight arrives a bus departs in the direction of Barcelona, passengers of other airlines are welcome too. Transport to the nearest city is operated by Sagalés, a journey between the airport and Girona takes no more than 30 minutes. Bus line 607 runs approximately every hour to and from the bus station of Girona. Tickets can be purchased at the airport and the bus station (Estació d’Autobusos de Girona), a return ticket is valid for 30 days. Bus line 601 of Sagalés runs between Girona Airport and the seaside resorts of Blanes and Calella. The holiday resorts are also known as Costa Brava Sur, in the south of Spain’s ‘wild coast’. During the summer season the bus runs six times a day to and from the airport, during the winter season there are only a few buses every day. The stops in Blanes and Calella are named ‘Estació d’Autobusos’ and ‘Oficina de Turismo de Calella’. The journey to Blanes takes 35 minutes, travel time to Calella is at least one hour.
