Where is Keflavik Airport?

Keflavik Airport is located in the western part of Iceland, close to the town Keflavik and at some distance from the capital Reykjavik. The airport and Reykjavik are connected by Route 41 (Reykjanesbraut). Keflavik Airport consists of one large terminal, called Leifur Eiríksson Air Terminal. The number of passengers at Keflavik Airport has grown significantly in recent years, for this reason the current terminal was expanded in 2016.
