GOOD TO KNOW: On December 14, 2021, the airport’s name was changed from Las Vegas McCarran Airport to Las Vegas Harry Reid Airport.
Las Vegas Harry Reid Airport is one of the busiest airports in the United States named after Harry Reid. The airport is a hub for low-cost carriers Allegiant Air, Frontier Airlines, Southwest Airlines and Spirit Airlines. The airport has four runways and two terminals (T1 and T3). Terminal 3 (Gates D, E) is used for international flights, from here you can travel by bus and taxi to Downtown Las Vegas and The Strip. There are two major international airports in the U.S. state of Nevada, namely Las Vegas Harry Reid Airport (51.5 million passengers in 2019) and Reno-Tahoe International Airport (4.5 million passengers in 2019).

Las Vegas Harry Reid Airport is located south of Downtown Las Vegas, in the south of Nevada. Two of the most famous casino resorts in Las Vegas, MGM Grand and Bellagio, are located a short distance from the airport. Las Vegas Harry Reid Airport is accessible via the Interstate 15, Interstate 215 and Interstate 515 highways.
How many terminals does Las Vegas Harry Reid Airport have?
The airport has two terminals, namely Terminal 1 (Gates A, B, C) and Terminal 3 (Gates D, E). Concourse D is a satellite terminal between Terminal 1 and Terminal 3. The airport has an Automated People Mover System, consisting of three different routes. The Green Line runs between Terminal 1 and Concourse C, the Blue Line connects Terminal 1 with Concourse D, the Red Line connects Terminal 3 with Concourse D. Free shuttle buses (Inter-terminal Shuttle) run between Terminal 1 for domestic flights and Terminal 3 for international flights. Incidentally, Las Vegas Harry Reid has one extra terminal, known as Janet Terminal / AECOM Hangar, which is used by the United States Department of the Air Force (DAF). They fly under the name Janet Airlines to Area 51 among other places, the aircraft are white with a horizontal red stripe on the sides.

Airport is filthy. Frontier airline employees sitting near us using the phrases like "Fuck this shit" "stupid bitch" So unprofessional.
We were over almost an hour late from the original time for take off. Flight #182 Las Vegas to Grand Island, NE... We were all on the plane at 5:45 pm and the Captain informed us that we were waiting to refuel.... A5 6:35 pm we finally received fuel... The Airport..... Not Allegiant... was very unorganized as it appeared there were other flights also delayed for the same reason.... Very unacceptable
