Los Angeles Airport
General information
The airport is after Hartsfield-Jackson Atlanta Airport the busiest airport in the United States (88 million passengers in 2019) and one of the largest airports in the world. The airport is a hub for Delta Air Lines, American Airlines, United Airlines and Alaska Airlines. A nice place just outside the airport is In-N-Out Burger, here you have a beautiful view of two of the four runways and you can also enjoy a real American burger (tip from Layovers podcast). You can reach the hamburger restaurant with the free shuttle bus heading to The Parking Spot Sepulveda Blvd.
Los Angeles Airport is the largest airport, but not the only airport in the region. You can also fly to Hollywood Burbank Airport (6.0 million passengers in 2019) and Long Beach Airport (3.6 million passengers in 2019) in Los Angeles County, John Wayne Airport (10.6 million passengers in 2019) in Orange County and Ontario International Airport (5.6 million passengers in 2019) in San Bernardino County.

The LAX lot where you pick up a taxi or an Uber is a nightmare. The cab drivers rip you off, take out of the way routes and overcharge. Plus they all have sob stories and complain constantly! Uber & Lyft are on the other side of a chain link fence. How the heck do you go get in there anyway! Please!!! LAX.. just have some local buses that at least will drop us outside of this nightmare. Ugghhh.. when will you ever let us out easily and without a hassle from the drivers for hire!! Eeeekkkkk
