There are many ways to get around the city by public transport, however, a transfer is necessary. The first step is the bus from the airport to the LAX City Bus Transit Center bus station (Lot C Shuttle) or Aviation / LAX Station (Bus G Route) metro station. Both buses leave with great regularity, Lot C Shuttle from Upper / Departures Level and Bus G Route from Lower / Arrivals Level. The stops can be recognized by the orange with black sign ‘LAX Shuttle to Lot C’ and the blue sign indicating ‘LAX Shuttle Airline Connection’. Tickets can be purchased from the bus driver and paid in cash. You can also use a TAP card. These stations will also be connected to the new northern connection of Green Line. In 2021 Aviation / 96th Street will be connected to the terminals of the airport by the LAX people mover.
