From LPQ Airport to Luang Prabang City centre by Car
There are no means of regular public transport (bus or train) to travel between the airport and the city. You do have two alternative options. The first option is using one of the shared minibuses which are offered by the airport. Your second option is to walk to the main road (Phetsarat Road) and hail a tuk-tuk there. Tuk-tuk drivers are not licensed to pick up travellers directly at the airport but along the main road it is very common. You only have to walk 100 metres to get to that main road.
