Latest airport reviews
The integration service of the airport is a shame. We wait 50-60 min to get out. Very chaotic and not the first time. Will try to avoid this airport in the future.
The officer at the information desk was busy chatting. He was not able to properly speak or understand english, not even words as ‘security’ ‘gate’ or ‘take-off’. Chatty and passive-agressive security staff who was in no hurry.
Flew back with EasyJet from Lyon to Edinburgh on Sat. 20th August. Went through security with my hotel invoices and a paper hankie in my trouser pocket. Was made to go back out and queue to come through again. Was not allowed to dump "offending" paperwork. Security staff very abrupt and unhelpful. Then at departure lounge made to wait in very hot conditions, no seating, only resting bars. Repeatedly told to move up so that we were all crammed like sardines. Was interested in buying bottle of Green Chartreuse at Duty-free because I use it as a cooking ingredient. They only had the small bottle size for just a little less than what I would pay for the large bottle size in the UK, so did not proceed with purchase. However, EasyJet deserve compliments for excellent value duty-free Bombay Sapphire Gin. Have always found their staff courteous and very helpful, so it is a pity but I will never use Lyon airport again.
