Latest airport review

I wish we had the opportunity to give a minus 1 review. MIA is, without a doubt, the worst airport in the US.

I have been traveling through MIA for 7 years on business. The first thing you find is that it is a half mile, or more, from the terminal to the car rental building, winding through a series of halls. They promote that is an easy walk since they have a number of moving sidewalks and escalators along the journey.

In 7 years, with close to a hundred flights in or out, I can tell you that, not once, have all of these moving sidewalks been working. In fact, for the past several months far more are shut down than working. There are 6 or 7 of them that have been barricaded as INOP for months.

This is a pathetic excuse for a travelers airport. My colleagues and I have finally convinced our company to look into Fort Lauderdale as an alternative. We run 20-25 folks through here each week and all are experiencing this lack of maintenance.
