From Terminal B, Terminal C and Terminal D, you can take the Q70 LaGuardia Link SBS bus service to Roosevelt Avenue – Jackson Heights metro station (74th Street / Broadway) and Woodside Station (61th Street / Woodside). The bus departs from Terminal B and runs to Woodside via Terminal D, Terminal C and Jackson Heights. Depending on where you get on the bus, the journey time to Roosevelt Avenue – Jackson Heights Subway Station is 10 to 20 minutes. At this station, you have the option to transfer to metro lines 7, E, F, M and R. All these lines of the New York Subway can take you to Manhattan in New York. Bus service Q70 runs 24 hours a day, 7 days a week. During the day, buses run every 10 to 15 minutes, at night every 20 minutes. Besides you can travel by ferries, including the free Staten Island Ferry between Battery Park in Lower Manhattan and Staten Island. Tourists mainly use the bus, Subway and of course taxis. New Yorkers commonly use train as a synonym for Subway. If you want to travel by bus and/or Subway, you must purchase a Single Ride ticket for $ 2.75 (bus) / $ 3.00 (Subway) or a MetroCard you can top up with Pay-Per-Ride, 7-Day Unlimited, 7-Day Unlimited Express Bus Plus or 30-Day Unlimited.
If you choose Pay-Per-Ride you pay $ 2.75 for a one-way ticket including transfers, MTA charges a $ 1.00 card fee for each new MetroCard. You may change from bus to metro, metro to bus or bus to bus once, there are no restrictions for transferring on the Subway.
