Bus to Palma de Mallorca
Public transportation between the airport and Palma de Mallorca is well organized, from the early morning till late in the evening you can take bus line 1 (Aeroport – Ciutat – Port) in both directions. In Palma de Mallorca the bus stops near the main tourist sites, while the port of Palma de Mallorca is the terminus. Travel time to the square Placa d’Espanya close to the city centre is 20 minutes. You can reach the city centre by foot or change to the bus, metro M1, metro M2 or Tren de Sóller, the station is called Estació Intermodal.
Bus tickets
You can buy a ticket with cash from the bus driver. The price is € 5.00 for tourists and € 1.00 for local residents. Children under 5 years travel free when accompanied by a paying adult. Bus to El Arenal
The popular resort of El Arenal is located at a short distance from Palma de Mallorca Airport and is easily accessible by public transport, namely bus line 21 (S’Arenal – Aeroport). The bus leaves approximately every 30 minutes to and from El Arenal, most hotels in El Arenal are on the route. Travel time to bus stop 490 – Cartago (Platja) is 25 minutes.

Aerotib airport intercity buses
Other parts of the island are also accessible by bus from Mallorca Airport. Bus line A11 runs from the airport to the west of Mallorca, bus line A32 to the northeast, bus line A42 to the east and bus line A51 to the southeast. You can reach the popular holiday destination Magaluf, mostly visited by British tourists, by bus line A11. The price for a bus ticket depends on the destination, prices vary from € 6.75 to € 13.50 for a single journey. In the summer period buses run more often than during the winter period.
