Transportation to and from Paphos Airport

What is the distance from Paphos Airport to the centre of Paphos, Limassol and Nicosia?

From the airport, you can reach the centre of Paphos in 20 minutes (14 kilometres) and the centre of Limassol in 45 minutes (60 kilometres). The capital of the island of Cyprus can be reached in 1 hour and 30 minutes (140 kilometres).

Bus to Paphos

There are two bus lines available between the airport and the city. Bus route 612 runs to the harbour of Paphos (Kato Paphos Main Bus Station), bus route 613 runs to the centre of Paphos (Karavella Main Bus Station). Kato Paphos or Lower Paphos is known as the tourist area of Paphos, here you will find most hotels. Along the way, several stops are made on both routes. During the months April to November bus 612 leaves about once every hour to and from Paphos Airport, travel time is 30 minutes. From December to March there are no buses available in the early morning and late evening. Travelling by bus 613 takes a little longer, moreover, this bus runs only six times a day.

Bus tickets
Tickets are inexpensive and cost € 1.50 per person from the bus driver, young people up to 12 years receive a 50% discount and children up to 5 years travel for free. After 21:00 hours tickets are more expensive, the price for an adult ticket is € 2.50. Bus route 615 runs every 10 to 15 minutes from Kato Paphos Main Bus Station to Coral Bay, via Tombs of the Kings Avenue and Chlorakas. Please consult website Pafos Buses for more information.

Limassol Airport Express to Limassol

Limassol Airport Express runs several times a day from Paphos Airport to Limassol, also in the opposite direction. The bus ride to and from Limassol (Agios Georgios Havouzas Church Station) takes 55 minutes. Unfortunately, this bus stop is not located in the centre of Limassol. For the last 4 kilometres into the city centre, you can take a local bus or taxi.

Tickets can be purchased on board the bus, you don’t need to make a reservation. The first child of a family travels for free, for luggage you don’t have to pay anything extra. Kapnos Airport Shuttle to Nicosia

Since 2014 it is possible to travel directly from Paphos Airport to Nicosia, you can reach the capital several times a day with the Kapnos Airport Shuttle. The journey time to and from Nicosia is 90 minutes, there are no intermediate stops. The bus stop in Nicosia can be found on the corner of Lemesou Avenue (B1 road) and Kyrenias Avenue, near Strovolos and 2.5 kilometres south of the city centre. Here you can transfer to bus 158 or bus 160 towards the centre of the city (Solomos Square, central bus station).

The price of a taxi to the city centre is a maximum of € 10. Bus tickets are available online and from the ticket desk at the airport. It is also possible to travel with Kapnos Airport Shuttle to Larnaca and Larnaca Airport. Please consult website Kapnos Airport Shuttle for more information.
