Location
Where is Paris Orly Airport situated?
Paris Orly Airport is situated south of the city centre. The airport is connected to Autoroute A106 and because of that easy to reach by car.
How many terminals does Paris Orly Airport have?
After renovation and expansion work, the airport changed the names of its terminals in the spring of 2019. Orly Ouest and Orly Sud are interconnected now and named differently, namely Orly 1-2-3-4. As a result, Paris Orly Airport has only one terminal. Orly Ouest is Orly 1 and Orly 2, Orly Sud is Orly 3 and Orly 4.
Walking between two parts of the airport takes 5 minutes, thus by foot it is 15 minutes between Orly 1 and Orly 4. The automatic shuttle train Orlyval takes travellers from Orly 1-2-3 station to Orly 4 station within a minute and vice versa and is therefore faster. Orly 3, the newest part of Paris Orly Airport, is closest to Orly 4 station.

Absolutely disgusted with staff. Staff and the security check kept fading around telling me to put my watch in my bag and the boarding pass in the bag; at that point in time I was a bit annoyed at how unhelpful she was and when I said ok to ask if she had finished she replied saying ‘ok’ I’m an extremely rude way. When entering the check in you have to walk to the other end of the hall to get back and when we tried walking under (no one there) we got told off, it’s exactly the same thing! And when we did go round my daughter got cut off by the lady and the lady knew that we were together so she crossed under. At the end of the check in all except my daughters bags went through the other side. The lady checking was very unhelpful in taking her time with everything and when I was missing my hair clips, she insisted that they weren’t there. The staff are so rude and arrogant I’m not wanting to speak English to the non-native speakers which in my opinion if you don’t like foreign people DONT work in an AIRPORT. The worst airport I have ever been to.
unfriendly staff, uncomfortable waiting area. Never use this airport if you have health problems
Bag security check, the guy with ild short gray hair, around 185-190cm tall, said after asking us if we speak english that he is not obliged to speak in english to us, while speaking perfectly fine english himself. How are you to communiacte on the most international airport if not in english? We are from other european country , and we all know english as a second one, knowing jow to speak french in 4 days is impossible, very arrogant to everyone passing by, that means no ill.
I cannot understand how can staff be so arrogant and passive aggressive to tourists and passing by people, some know how to speak english better than the others but hard to find. What is this wierd culture in frence?
