Prague Airport is the busiest airport in the Czech Republic, also known as Václav Havel Airport Prague and Prague Ruzyne International Airport. The airport is located west of the Czech capital, not far from the city. It is easily reachable via the Expressway R7 (Lipská Street).
How many terminals does Prague Airport have?
Prague Airport has four terminals, the northern terminal complex (T1, T2) and southern terminal complex (T3, T4) are not within walking distance of each other. This is not a problem, since only Terminal 1 (Concourses A, B) and Terminal 2 (Concourses C, D) are used for scheduled flights. Terminal 3 is intended for private and charter flights. After the security check you need 5 to 10 minutes to walk to gates A, B and C, boarding gates D can be found directly behind the security check of Terminal 2. The old Terminal 1 is used for flights to non-Schengen countries, the modern Terminal 2 for flights to Schengen countries. The walking distance between Terminal 1 and Terminal 2 is 5 minutes, in the hallway you will find BILLA supermarket.
The distance from Prague Airport to the centre of Prague is 16 kilometres. By car, it takes 30 minutes to get to the centre of Prague.
