Latest airport reviews
On arrival from Dubai there was no illustration of where to collect the baggage from after waiting forever. In the end one of the stewardesses had to come and verbally announce to all waiting on which belt we would find it.
After spending 2 days in the airport between hotel and departures and previously one month beforehand, 2 of the only 3 lifts in Terminal 3 were not responding with long queues of people waiting, no notice to say that they were out of order and nobody caring to check or fix anything.
Typical careless 3rld world management as usual, as has become expected & known of Rome unfortunately.
The best airport I have ever been to (and I've gone through hundreds and hundreds of them in the last two decades). I was blown away by the modernity, the structure, the stores, the quality of services, the organization level and the comfort of this amazing intercontinental hub!
Very good airport, the terminals are closed enough, good signs and information, the staff speaks english the most, helpful people. You can guide yourself easy inside. I've missed more seats in the waiting area. Arrive with enough time if leaving Europe from Fiumicino because emigration lines are a bit crowded (30 minutes waiting time minimum).
